So I was thinking the other day, what is it with these red states anyway? On a lark, I decided to overlay the national teacher salary ranking with a map of red vs. blue state as measured by the past four presidential elections. The results were pretty interesting.The top ten states for teachers salaries also happened to be solidly blue states where the last ten states were decidedly red.
